Hello u Cr£atIvE$

Hey Bloggers i've missed you!! I must say i've felt creativly constipated and it has not been an easy ride. I'm now back from visiting the states and with the summer in full swing i've risen from my slumpyness and i'm back on track. You Missed a couple things that i'll be up dating you on. Like my 2 week placement at Inferno with Anita.

It was really insightful! I had a great time working on briefs and speaking too the Creatives, with some senior advice and a window of thought it helped reaffirm my passion for the Advertising industry :)

Premature Bee Hive

I took some pics of this bee nest that was slowly growing in my aunts BBQ thingy. Before I could capture were it originally started nesting my uncle flicked it out. The little groves bees make are amazing! Perfect architecture from natures best.

Time waits for nothing, but everything takes time... I'm back!

I need to refresh my memorie bank when it comes to knowledge of photographers, artists, copywriters...etc.

So i've done some reading and digging, to my delight I discovered Mario Epanya; a french artist, thurned makeup artist to fashion photographer. Mario took these beautiful pictures for the future Vogue Africa edition. I'm very excited to bag one as their hasn't been any previous issues of it's kind.

~Morning has Broken~

I sleep early, then rise rise at the peak of dawn :)

Since being at home for easter, i've had no reason to stay up late so unless I'm out i sleep before 12pm. My family is up between 7-9am so now I wake up at 7:30 and 8:00am. Instead of becoming annoyed. I've become enchanted by the stillness of the morning. The air seems cleaner and the birds sing/howl more prominently.

So next time you wake up early, don't role back into your covers!
Open your window and appreciate the stillness of the morning.
It's now my favorite Thing.

The Tale of a Lowly King

An unchangeable wind

On a distinguished night,

Hailed to lowly kings and put up no fight,

With animosity and rage, the stars dimed there light

For this was a scene, in which they could not delight.

The bow of the ship has now lost it’s way,

For this lowly king, will repay,

His ingratitude to the nightly stars,

That hallowed his pathway, thus this far.

The sea had no choice but too obey,

The unlawful wind that choose its way,

The lowly king had changed his mind

And broke the omen of ancient times.

A beautiful Nymph, lit under the moon

Awoke from her sleep and hailed the lagoon

Trapped under the curse, her father bestowed

By betraying Poseidon, a new fate he chose.

She spoke to her father the lowly king

And rebuked his ill treatment; to nature he sinned.

In disguised turmoil he did not obey,

Now his darling daughter will always pay.

The evil curse of the nightly moon

Will always keep her, in this deep lagoon.

Her father’s new allie: Aeolus the great

Will lead him home safely, to face his new fate.

My poem was inspired by Homers 'Odyssey' and Virgil's 'Iliad'. I'm not sure, but you may have to appreciate mythical stories to like it on a different level x

Eureka!!

Today I had an epiphany. I realised I wasn't utilising the gift of expression. I like manipulating words, not for the sake of it but because I want it to mean something when you read it. Whether I'm good at it or not, for now is the least of my concerns. It's what I like to do so i'll do it, when ever, were eva.

The poster above looks like its about loving novels, but its about receiving letter. Either way I like doing both.
